Uplift × answers the softer question — the velocity multiple needed to reach target DOI by the 30 Sep deadline (≤1.0 = on track at current pace), so it always reads lower than the Target pcs/day ask. Cash locked = value of stock above target level. Escalation rules: uplift > 2× → change mechanic (deeper discount / bundle / channel switch) within 7 days · zero velocity for 14 days → dead: principal return or write-off decision · rationalization SKU still above 10 DOI at deadline → auto-kill review · expiry < 6 months → overrides everything, move first.
